It may not mean much to anyone else, but I was a little stunned to realize that I just posted my 1000th Beatles related entry over at Blog, Blog Me Do.

That's a lot of Fab Four fun, news and trivia in just over two years. According to the sites stats, in that time the blog has had 40,000 visitors from 103 countries. There's a lot of other Beatle nuts about.

This is simply staggering - The Times - yes that TIMES - has just listed the little Beatles themed Blog that I've been writing over the last few months as .... get this...

The #1 Beatles related Blog on the web.

Sound of my lower jaw hitting the kitchen tiles....

The article listing the Top 5 Beatles blog can be found here,

and if you haven't started reading it yet, you can find the aforementioned blog, which goes under the snappy title of "Blog, Blog Me Do", by clicking here.

New Beatles Blog - Testing
by Alan J. Porter (gothamajp)
at March 29th, 2006 (04:55 pm)

A few days ago I was asking if anyone knew of a good blog devoted to all things Fab Four... well there was a reason..

I am part of a team developing a new blog that will devoted to The Beatles. We won't just recycle news clips form other sources (all though there will be some of that), we also will be posting original content and articles. The blog will be called Blog, Blog Me Do.

The graphics and page design are still being worked on, but we've posted around 75 pieces of content to get things going. We are now looking for feedback, thoughts and general observations from Beatles fans before we do the full roll out.

So please click on over to BlogMeDo.com, and let us know what you like, what you don't and what sort of things you would like to see in a Beatles blog.

REMEMBER the look of the site isn't finished yet and we are still testing...

Feel free to either comment here on LJ or on the blog itself.

Hi folks -

Does anyone know of any active Blogs that are totally dedicated to things BEATLES related.

I've found a couple but most that I've stumbled across seem to dead, not having been updated for a long time.

Welcome to BeatleSites! Please visit the community's profile page for rules and information on joining.  If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to contact me (_applescruff).  I'll get things started with my own post:

Name: Kristin
Web Site Name: Endless Rain
URL: http://beatles.rain-shine.net
Description:  Endless Rain is the Beatles portion of my domain.  It has concert reviews (by myself and others), information on the inspirations behind the Beatles' songs, pictures, instrument info, etc.  I'm always looking for ways to improve it, so I'd appreciate any suggestions.  Unfortunately I haven't had much time to update it regularly during the past few months, but I intend to update more regularly in the future.  (I also used to own the Hey Jude Fanlisting [http://heyjude.rain-shine.net], but I've recently shut it down because I couldn't devote enough time to keeping it updated). Hopefully I'll have more time to update Endless Rain now.
